Meet at the airport, Transfer to hotel in Beirut for overnight.
Breakfast, Drive through the Mount Lebanon via the Beka’a valley to discover Baalbeck, the small town outstanding for its acropolis considered among the most important Roman ruins ever built. Continue to Anjar, the unique fortified city in Lebanon dated back from Omayyad period. Then pass by Ksara village for wine tasting, Return to Beirut.
After breakfast, drive to visit Byblos, the city of the most ancient port in the world. Visit the old Souks, Old ramparts, citadel, St. John Church and Roman amphitheater. Proceed to Tripoli, the second largest city of the country, to visit the castle of Raymond de Saint Gilles (Sinjil) on the mountain Pelerin, the Souk and the fisherman harbor. Return to Beirut
Drive south along the coast to Tyre to visit the Necropolis excavation, the Monumental Arch the spectacular Hippodrome and the Imperial city excavation. Afternoon drive to the coasts city of Saida. Visit of Qalaat Al-Bahr, the Crusader Castle of the Sea from the13th century, it was built on a little island at the harbor entrance. Free Tour through the Souk. Short visit to Eshmoun to visit the Temple of the Phoenician God identified to Aesculapius. Return to Beirut
Breakfast. The day starts with a stroll through the cosmopolitan city center of Beirut which contains sites and monuments dating back to more than 5,000 years ago. You will discover ancient Phoenician archaeological sites, Roman baths, churches, and mosques of great historical value, the Martyr’s Square, the famous Pigeon Rocks on the corniche, and the National Museum housing antiquities and treasures from all over Lebanon. Heading to the Chouf region 45 km east-west of Beirut, You will discover the ancient village of Deir el Qamar (meaning “Monastery of the Moon “), consisting of stone houses with red-tiled roofs. Then you will proceed to visit the Palace of Beiteddine. Lebanon’s best example of early 19th century Lebanese architecture, which was built over a thirty-year period by Emir Bechir Chehab II, who ruled Mount Lebanon for more than half a century. Back to the hotel in Beirut and Overnight.
Transfer to Beirut Airport for final departure.
