Breakfast – depart to Ajloun, the Islamic castle Ajloun stands on top of 1123 meter high Jabel Auf. It was built in 1185 by the famous General Sultan Salah Ad-din to protect the country against the Crusader attacks and to secure the pilgrim routes & was re-built on XIII century after Mongol destruction. Continue driving to the one of Decapolis Cities, Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the Middle East, which is only 50 km north of Amman. Jerash was built by Alexander the Great in 332BC and started to prosper after the Roman conquest in 63BC. The Artemis Temple, the theatres, the Colonnaded Street and many other ancient buildings give you the feeling of the great civilization and the history of the region. End of day tour, return back to Amman. Dinner and overnight
Breakfast – running the panoramic view of Amman, capital of Jordan, to see the Citadel, roman theatre, the old city and the main streets and avenues, stroll through the busy souqs, then passing by the houses in the residential areas Abdoun (PANORAMIC TOUR). Continue drive to Madaba, well known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Especially popular in Madaba is the 6th century mosaic map of Palestine on the floor of the orthodox St. George's Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, not far from Madaba. Mt. Nebo where Prophet Moses gazed across the Promised Land and also where he later died, here one can also find the remains of a church from the 4th century and a monastery with magnificent mosaics. From the mountain enjoy a panoramic view of the Holy Land; usually Jericho is visible and on clear days Jerusalem is visible too. The importance of the place lies in being the last place visited by Moses. Continue drive to Petra. Dinner and overnight
Visiting the Red Rose City, the capital of the Nabataeans. During the visit, discover the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabataeans. The Treasury, famous and internationally known monument featured in the Indiana Jones film The Last Crusade movie, the Tombs of colors, the Royal Tombs, the Monastery. Petra is one of those places in the world where you have to go at least once in a life time. Dinner and overnight
Breakfast and departure to Aqaba. Make a visit of Aqaba. Continuation and departure to Wadi Rum. After 1 hour and 30 minutes of walking, we arrive at the desert of Lawrence of Arabia. The visit lasts two hours, and is carried out in peculiar 4 x 4 vehicles driven by Bedouins, (6 people per car) it consists of a small incursion into the lunar landscape of this desert. On our walk we will observe the wonders that nature has done and the erosion of rocks and sand. At the end of the visit, continuation to the camp. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast then Dead sea the lowest point on earth, about 400m below sea level. The Dead Sea is mainly supplied by water from the Jordan River. While it is an experience to bath without sinking, the mineral-rich Dead Sea offers more; as it was one of the first spas in the world. Herod the Great, king of Judaea used it in the 1st century BC as health treatment. The water and the special conditions of the area have positive effects on dermatological and rheumatic diseases. Breakfast and departure for the border with Israel and Palestine, in search of the Jordan River. We will dedicate this day to visit one of the most mystical and spiritual places in Jordan. We visit Bethany, the place where Jesus was baptized by St.John the Evangelist. The Jordanian enclave of Bethany was opened to visitors in 2000 and Pope John Paul II attended its inauguration as a sign of its recognition by the Vatican. Place of the Baptism of Jesus "Bethany beyond the Jordan" (Al-Maghtas) The archaeological complex located on the eastern bank of the Jordan River, about 9 km north of the Dead Sea, is of immense importance for Christianity because it is recognized as the place where Jesus of Nazareth was baptized by John the Baptist. After the visit, return to the hotel. Free time… Dinner and overnight
